Our CatalogueBecause we are a boutique label our catalogue is necessarily small (but good!). We feature the catchy and quirkily "refined garage-rock" of The Synics as well as the "aggressive-progressive" sound of The Rebel Wheel.
The Synics AreDescribed as "retro-esque with a danceable brain" (Ottawa journalist Phil Jenkins) this CD is an eclectic mix of hard-rock riffing and quirky pop songwriting. Unified by The Synics refined garage-rock sensibilities, this CD aptly demonstrates the band's unique and passionate approach.
The Petrarch LoopThe second CD by The Synics is an exploration of the themes of love, obsession and Hope. The music is more "produced" this time out and features the inclusion of Linda Montford on sax and bg vocals.
The Rebel WheelThe Rebel Wheel is a fiery, mostly instrumental ensemble that fuses the traditional aspects of Progressive-rock (odd-meters, lush synths and extended harmonies) with a jazz-fusion, avant-rio flair. Their first CD is just released and is garnering praise from Prog fans world-wide for it's intensity, complexity and the player's effortless virtuosity. |
